'Extreme reading' 2014

Over the October half term holidays, we invited the children to take part in the Beeston Fields ‘Extreme Reading’ challenge. We asked them to take a photo of themselves as they read… in an unusual place! Some were caught reading in the bath, some were found reading to their pet and we even snapped one child reading in the middle of a boxing ring! The children knew that they didn't necessarily have to be caught reading a book. Some children read information boards on their holidays whilst others read bus tickets. Aston in Year 6 was caught reading the wallpaper in his bathroom!

Mrs Lindsay decided to award prizes for the most ‘inventive’ and ‘creative’ photos which were sent in! So who would you have picked as your prize winners? Take a look at the slideshow below and decide for yourself!
