Look at our work
We have been using purple mash to explore different designs and colours to decorate symbols from festivals such as a Christmas tree.
This week the children have been writing a letter to a friend and practiced composition of numbers 3, 4 and 5. Their creativity is expressing in different ways, they are writing, drawing and building.
The children are learning and working hard in our environment. We made days of the week paper chains, built with wooden bricks and other materials and threaded beads to refine our fine motor skills.
This week the children showed incredible resilience and listening skills when building, drawing, exploring or playing games with friends. They attentively listened and retold a recount of a day and even tried to write the first words with support. They help each other and add to their work to make it better.
This week we are learning about parts of a whole such as 1 and 1 makes 2 up to 4. We are also giving meaning to our marks when we are writing. We are also learning to write parts of the story of the three little pigs.
This week we have been drawing, building, painting and playing games outside. Some of us even tried to make a story map of the Three little pigs. The children loved using playdough to make cakes and other shapes.
This week we have been learning how to keep safe playing in our outdoor environment completing our outdoor passports. We had so much fun!
We are exploring our indoor provision and learning how to responsibly use the school resources. We are getting to know our classmates, learning about numbers, building objects and drawing.
