Mental Wellbeing

How are you feeling today?

See the characters below of the well known film 'Inside Out.' You could even go and watch it!

We feel all of these feelings at some points in the day or week or month. It is really important we talk about these feelings to others and have the confidence to express ourselves.

Activities you could do at home

Circle time: You could share positive experiences - you could even do this when your eating dinner. Start off by saying something nice about the person next to you and then talk about how that makes you feel. Then you could share a positive or negative experience and talk about how it made you feel.

Lego building or sand play:  While the child is playing they are more likely to talk about how they are feeling. This can be a way for parents to talk to their children if they think they are feeling down.
