N2 Autumn 1 Super Sounds – “Wriggling to the Rhythm”
Children develop a sense of rhythm through musical games and stories. They learn to clap a beat or pattern and to clap syllables in words. This prepares children for later phonics learning by hearing and understanding that words can be broken down into smaller chunks of sounds and syllables.
