LC: I can build a wide vocabulary.

Draw a small picture of the funnybones town in the middle of your paper.

Today we are thinking of words that have a similar meaning to ‘dark’ or ‘scary’ but are more interesting and descriptive.

Think of words that could be used to describe the funnybones town and write them around your picture.

If you would like a challenge, you could google ‘scary thesaurus’ and this will show you a range of interesting descriptive words you could use in your writing which have a similar meaning to the word ‘scary’.
