Today is all about identifying the features of the woodland.

Tuesday 24th March 2020

Mini beast habitats

Can you explain how you know that the mini beast would live in that habitat?

Wednesday 25th March 2020

LC: Science

Can you design your own categorising system for animals that live in the woods?

Challenge: If you have done this, use your imagination to create a system for magical animals! How creative can you be?

Thursday 26th March 2020

LC: I can observe and record data.

If you get the chance to go outside (maybe in the garden or the park), see what habitats you can find, and what animals live there.

Below record your findings however you like (drawings, diary, report, pictogram etc).

If you are not going outside, then draw a habitat with LOTS of mini beasts inside it and then create a grid to show how many insects are there.

Friday 27th March 2020

LC: I can use a range of tones to create an owl.

Your task is to practise stipping, cross hatching, hatching and scumbling and then use these skills to draw your very own owl.
