What makes a community?
Our driver for this enquiry is Geography. The children will be learning to read and create maps as well as locating key parts and places of the world including the equator and our 2 focus locations: Nottingham and Shanghai. We will be using these 2 places as case studies identifying similarities and differences of their physical and human features.
Our enhancer for this enquiry is RE. The children will be looking at key aspects of different religions and how these form communities.
