Maths
Over the first half term children will develop their knowledge of numbers within 10. They shall begin with counting different representations of 10 before using this knowledge to count on from any number within 10. As the term progresses the children will develop their mathematical vocabulary using words such as; fewer, more or equal to compare different quantities to 10. Towards the end of the first half term the children will begin to apply their number knowledge of 10 to answer simple additions.
