Autumn Term

The children will be studying a number of units including: place value, addition and subtraction, perimeter, and multiplication and division. Working through the 'Power Maths' scheme of work, children will build on their learning and gain confidence. Through regular practice they will work on their arithmetic knowledge relating to the four mathematical operations.

Children in Year 4 also sit the Multiplication check and therefore will have frequent opportunities to practise their times tables.
