Admissions
Welcome to our Admissions page, we are so pleased you are looking to join us.
On this page there is lots of information and guidance about the application process. Moving or starting school is often exciting but can be a daunting process for both children and parents, we will work with you to make the process as smooth and happy as possible. Our office team is very knowledgeable about the admission process so if there is a question you cannot find the answer to here please do call us.
We welcome visits throughout the year. We like to arrange individual visits as well as our planned open mornings. Visits offer parents a one to one conversation with our Head Teacher as well as the opportunity to see our active, happy school during day. Please contact the school office on 01158440100 to book.
School places are for 4-11 year olds. To apply for a school place with us you will need to contact your local authority - for most of our children this will either be Nottinghamshire County Council or Nottingham City Council. We have provided quick links to both councils admission pages below;

Once you have completed this process the council will inform us that you require a place and we will contact you to arrange a start date.
3-4 year olds are welcome at our nursery which runs sessions in the morning and afternoon. To apply for a place please contact the school office.
For more about our school vision and joining us please read our School Admission Flyer below.

Appeals
2022/23 Admissions round
As an academy our appeals arrangements are handled directly by the school as part of the Flying High Trust. All appeals received by the school are handled by an independent appeals clerk who will make all the necessary arrangements to ensure all appeals are compliant with statutory guidelines.
Appeals will be heard within 40 school days of the appeal deadline where possible, or within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged. You should complete the form below and return it to the Flying High Trust

Appeals time table
Your appeal, once submitted will be forwarded to the Independent Clerk, who is currently planning again for the commencement of the appeal hearings. He will be in touch with you as soon as possible once a date has been agreed for the hearing to take place. We do fully recognise the frustration this may cause but these are unprecedented times and trust you fully understand this. Each appeal should continue to be sent to info@flyinghightrust.co.uk and you will receive acknowledgment that the appeal has been received, update on the situation and contact details for the appeals clerk who will manage your appeal and keep you informed of progress, date and outcomes.
Assuring you of our best attention at all times.
