Why do we play with toys as we grow older?

We have kick started this terms topic by looking at a variety of toys - present and from the past. We have talked about how toys have changed over the years, what materials toys are made from and toys that are designed specifically for boys and girls. We have also talked about toys for the rich and poor and how they differ.

We brought in our own favourite toys from home and talked about why they are special to us. Have a look at the photos of our favourite toys and some of the video clips we made about our special toys.
