The Highwayman
This half-term we are looking at the poem 'The Highwayman' by Alfred Noyes.
We launched the topic with a crime scene investigation. We put together different picture clues to come up with a theory about the plot of the poem.

We talked about how music can affect our mood. We worked in groups to develop our own soundtrack for two verses of the poem using percussion instruments.
Highwayman Soundtrack
We talked about the ways in which music can be recorded. We used non-standard notation to write a piece of music which we then performed by following our notes.
